So is it time for this yet? I've been a little out-of-sorts lately, but I figure it's time for one of these so that ya'll know I'm still alive, if nothing else. The break went by in a big hurry and was marked by pretty crazy weather in every place I was. Around home, we had our first white Christmas since 1929, we had to postpone our visit to my grandparents due to flooding, and my trip to see Sam was in the middle of a record-setting (I think...) cold spell with temperatures below zero and snow and ice and all that fun stuff. Well, contrary to popular belief, I'm not dead. Now, whether or not that was actually the popular belief, I can't really say since I've not been around in...quite some time. BUT...there are good reasons for my lack of activity. Or at least I'd like to think there are. Mostly, I guess, I've just been busy with the rest of life and so I haven't had the time or desire to do anything overly artistic that isn't directly related to my job. And seeing how this is a place I post art, I haven't felt the need to come around here for anything aside from just keeping up with everyone else.
